Colorado School of Mines was a remodel of two existing buildings. The first building added an 11,800 square foot food court to the second floor, which included 4 different restaurants and a convenience store. On the first floor, a new book store was added with 4 new offices and additional seating.
The second building added 20 offices and 4 conference rooms for a total of 12,000 square feet.
The complexity of this job came not from architectural pieces but from ceiling tile. The 2×2’ tile was imported and glued to a drywall ceiling above and then painted black.
