This Privacy Policy explains what information Interior Contractors Inc, LLC ("ICI", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two things:

  • Our website, www.icicolorado.com (Part A).
  • The ICI Field App, our iPad app for ICI employees (Part B).

Sections that apply to both are at the end (Part C).

Part A: Our Website

Information We Collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our website (for example, a contact, bid or job inquiry), we collect what you enter, such as your name, company, email address, phone number, mailing address and message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider record basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies. Our website uses cookies that are needed for the site to work, and cookies that remember your choices (such as accepting the cookie notice). Our website platform may also use cookies to measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

How We Use Website Information

  • To respond to your inquiries, bids and requests.
  • To run, secure and improve our website.
  • To keep business records and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Part B: The ICI Field App

The ICI Field App is an internal app for ICI employees, used on ICI-issued iPads. It is not intended for the public. You sign in with your ICI Microsoft work account; the app does not let anyone create a new account.

Information the App Collects

  • Your work identity: name, ICI work email address, Microsoft account ID and ICI employee number. Why: to sign you in and show you only what you are allowed to use.
  • Device information: an app-generated device ID, iPad model, iOS version and app version. Why: to keep your work linked to your company iPad, to let ICI disable a lost or replaced device, and to troubleshoot problems.
  • Timekeeping records: crew members' names and employee numbers, clock-in and clock-out times, job, extra and cost code, hours, and the reason for any correction or void. Why: to prepare payroll and job cost records.
  • Time off requests: dates, hours, category, status, approvals and any optional note you add. Why: to manage time off requests and approvals. Please do not include medical or other sensitive details in notes.
  • Field forms: your answers, photos you attach, signatures captured on the iPad, and the job. Why: to keep job, safety and quality records.
  • Location: the iPad's location at the moment you submit a form that includes a location stamp. Why: to record where the form was completed. The app only uses location while you are using it for that form. It does not track your location in the background.
  • Photos: only the photos you choose to attach to a form. Why: to document the work on a form.

How We Use App Information

We use this information only to run ICI's business: payroll and timekeeping, time off, job records, safety and quality documentation, security of our systems, and meeting our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not use it for advertising, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell it.

Offline Use

So that crews can keep working without a signal, the app stores time punches and form submissions on the iPad until it can upload them. Saved work is tied to the person who entered it and uploads only under that person's sign-in.

Where App Information Is Kept and Who Receives It

App information is sent over encrypted connections to ICI's own systems and stored there. It is shared only:

  • Within ICI, with the people who need it for their job (for example, your supervisor, approvers, Payroll and Field Operations reviewers).
  • With service providers that help us run the app: Microsoft (secure sign-in with your work account), Apple (app distribution and, if you choose to send it, crash reports and feedback), and Expo (delivery of app updates). These providers receive only what they need to perform their service.
  • When required by law, as described in Part C.

Email Notifications

The intranet may send you work emails about app activity, for example when a time off request is approved or a field form is returned for correction.

Access and Removal

Your app access is managed by ICI. When your employment ends or your role changes, ICI removes or changes your access. You can ask to see or correct information about you using the contact details below. Some records, such as payroll and time records, must be kept for the periods required by law even after you leave.

Part C: Applies to Both

Sharing Required by Law and Business Transfers

We may disclose information if required by law or a valid request from a court or government agency, to protect the rights, property or safety of ICI, our employees or others, or to investigate possible wrongdoing. If ICI is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. Payroll, time and job records are kept for the periods required by federal and Colorado law and our record-retention practices.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, sign-in through ICI's Microsoft work accounts, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website and the ICI Field App are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your Choices and Rights

You can contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or, where the law allows, to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will honor requests as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Links to Other Websites

Our website may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
